Tell me about Bahá’ís

The Bahá’ís are the largest, single most diverse community in the world. We are from people
every race, country, belief, age, colour and size. We are open to all, Bahá’u’lláh the founder of the Bahá’í Faith said, “we are the fruits of one tree, and the leaves of one branch”. We believe in Unity in Diversity.

The Bahá’ís living in Inverurie are from Scotland, Shetland, Iran, England and Morocco. We have been holding a number of community building events, these include, Arts Days, Children’s Classes, Junior Youth activities and meeting to uplift the spirits – for example sharing prayers for loved ones, studying spiritual writings together, listening to music or just sharing thoughts about life.

There are many wonderful websites already around that can give you a deeper insight and understanding of what we are doing with our friends to improve our communities for everyone, here in the North East of Scotland, in the UK and all over the world.
