Arts Days

We organise “Arts Days” in Inverurie about every 3 months as another contribution to community building.

The purpose of these events is to create some time for people of all ages in the community, to come together to make friends, and spend some time doing something creative. Many people rarely get the chance these days, to try various artistic activities, so we have organised these days where anyone can come and try out a couple of activities.

Each day we have 4 different artistic options and we run each for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon, with a soup and sandwich lunch between them. Over the last few years we have had the following artistic activities:

Sculpture, Water Colour painting, Decoupage, Photography, Oil Painting, Beadmaking, Jewellery making, Painiting on tiles, Collage, The Art of Planning, Shrinking plastic, Card Making, Drumming, Arylic Painting, and Biscuit decoration.
